Doc is another family favorite.  I bought him completely on sentimental value because he is by Miss Geminy Oak, LTE of 35K here at Flannery Barrel Horses, but the cross on ASOF didn't hurt a thing. Doc is a highly sensitive horse, with cat like moves and energizer bunny personaility.  Jacob is his favorite here on the ranch, together in 2011 they got all-around cowboy at Thedford Jr Rodeo, won the 5-State Pole Futurity, 2nd at the Roper Apparel Pole Futurity, plus went to brandings and roped and doctored lots of calves.  We had a break-out of pneumonia in our calves last July, Jake and Doc headed out nearly every morning at 6am to help doctor, needless to say we were in shape for the beginning of futurities in August. 

Doc started 2011 off opening eyes right away in the barrel racing world, winning all the futurity side-pots in the spring, winning his 2nd rodeo, and doing it all at 3/4 speed. He also had an excellent futurity season against one of the hottest string of futurity horses I've seen.  He placed at nearly all of them, plus won the Roper Rally Slot Race.  He made 2011 an excellent year for me, one that I will always remember.
